Day Twenty-One: Letting It Go

I saw my grandmother today. She looked more beautiful than ever, she had let her red hair go gray. It was the most beautiful combination of white, gray and dark gray streaks. It was better than anything a stylist could have done. Nature has a way of being exactly whats needed when its needed. You may love it, you may hate it, but its the real thing.

Grace Coddington said some great stuff about aging in her book and all the adjustments you can now make to your face and body. She said one thing I thought was interesting is that everyone looks the same when they do enough cosmetic surgery. I agree.

I am glad I got to see her real hair color at least once. It reminded me how chic gray hair is and how chic it is to get old.
